With a Master’s in Social Work from Springfield College, Mariah has been working for 10 years as a social worker in the field of mental health. Mariah has experience providing counseling services to children, adolescents and adults of all ages as well as families. Mariah is dedicated to educating, empowering and supporting children, adolescents, and adults at all different stages of life. One of Mariah ’s primary goals is to foster real, sustainable change that will produce a lasting and positive impact in the lives of her clients.
Mariah has training in Motivational Interviewing, Solution-focused, Person Centered, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused, Mindfulness and Art Therapy. In addition, Mariah utilizes holistic methods along with a strength-based approach to focus on empowering clients by highlighting their inherent strengths and capabilities. Mariah’s therapeutic approach is one of collaboration, connection, trust, & respect. As a team, she helps her clients address and overcome the barriers blocking them from living the life they deserve.
As a Licensed Master Social Worker, Mariah has clinical experience providing treatment for Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, Behavioral Disorders, Stress, OCD, Autism, Adjustment Disorders, Communication issues, Family issues, Grief and Loss, and Substance Misuse. Overall, Mariah believes that an individual’s resilience accompanied by a safe therapeutic environment provides a fundamental healing foundation to overcome all challenges.
