Trina Martine, PMHNP-BC, is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who sees patients at Hopewell Health Solutions, which has locations in Glastonbury and West Hartford, Connecticut.
Trina Martin received her Master’s degree from George Washington University. Trina is an experienced Nurse Practitioner with more than 30 years of experience working with adults, adolescents, and children in a variety of medical settings. Trina treats both acute and chronic psychiatric conditions and works with children, teens, and adults at Hopewell Health Solutions.
Trina’s therapeutic approach is very holistic and comprehensive. She assesses her clients’ health – physically, psychologically, emotionally, and spiritually. This thorough approach is based on the understanding that when one area is off balance for a client, it will affect other aspects as well. She enjoys working with clients and helping them find that balance – including lifestyle changes, therapeutic strategies, therapy, and medications. Trina talks with her patients through difficult and complicated medical decisions, such as making psychiatric medication adjustments.
In addition to medication management, her treatment approach includes CBT(cognitive behavioral therapy), motivational interviewing, supportive therapy, and solution-focused therapy. Trina’s goal is to work collaboratively with her clients, in an environment that is safe and supportive. She promotes honest discussions that work towards her clients achieving their optimum state of mental well-being.
Trina lives in Salem with her husband, their youngest son, and their dog, Sunny – while her three older children have since flown the coop. She enjoys being outdoors, hiking, going to the beach, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.
