Timothy Hall, LPC-A is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate and has received his masters’ in clinical mental health counseling from Springfield College. With extensive experience working with adolescents, adults, and families facing a wide range of mental health issues, Tim is passionate about helping people overcome hurdles to live their best lives. In addition, Tim has worked with first responders, (Police, Firefighters, Corrections, EMS, Dispatchers) as well as active military and veterans. He has worked in outpatient settings providing therapeutic guidance and treatments which addressed each person’s individual mental health needs. Tim has worked with trauma-related disorders such as PTSD, depression and mood related disorders, anxiety, attachment and behavioral issues. He has also worked with couples to navigate the complexities of mental health and effective communications skills to strengthen partnership.
Tim utilizes several evidence-based approaches that are trauma-informed and cognitive approaches including, CBT( Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) , DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) , EFT, EMDR, IFS (Internal Family Systems) , and Somatic Therapy. He also has specialized training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Acute Stress Syndrome Stabilization (ASSYST).
Tim believes in maintaining a holistic human approach which fosters and encourages personal strengths and growth. He is skilled at assessing the whole person and utilizing tailored treatment plans for issues such as, Addiction, ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar, Trauma, and behavior disorders.
Tim recently retired after 10 years as a Police Officer. He understands first hand and clinically, the way work, stress, and trauma that can affect day to day life. His aim is to help those who are struggling, to regain peace/control over their lives.
In his spare time, Tim enjoys hiking and exploring nature with his son, catching up on their shows and listening to music with his wife, and finding new creative outlets like painting mini figures and coloring.
