Asia is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Connecticut. She is a graduate of the University of New Haven, with a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology from University of New Haven. She has clinical experience in counseling, crisis management and stabilization, psychiatric residential treatment, intensive outpatient, and partial hospitalization settings. She has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families.  Asia is certified in Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Crisis, and Family Trauma.

Asia is a dynamic and engaging therapist who quickly joins with her clients in order to guide them to success in health, happiness, and healing. She is non-judgmental and caring to her clients as she identifies this as the key to healing and transformation. Her approach is holistic, custom tailored, and strength-based understanding that each client has both strengths and weaknesses and each client requires a customized personalized plan. Asia is passionate about helping clients identify their core values and motivation for change so they live a life in line with their authentic integrity.  She offers her clients hope, support, and evidence-based strategies to help them achieve the goals they desire.

In her free time Asia enjoys reading, painting, and spending time with family/friends.
