Stephanie in Three Words: Positive, Insightful, Motivating

"Owning our story and loving ourselves through that process is the bravest thing we will ever do." - Brene Brown

Stephanie Paul LCSW is a licensed clinical social worker practicing in Connecticut for the past 15 years. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Vermont in Psychology and her Master’s Degree from the University of Connecticut in Clinical Social Work. She has worked in local mental health agencies, schools, hospitals and private practice.

Stephanie offers:
  • Individual counseling for teens through older adults for a variety of issues relating to life transitions, adjustment issues, trauma, substance abuse, grief and bereavement, anxiety and depression.
  • Group Sessions
  • Internal Family Systems Therapy

Stephanie uses a holistic approach to therapy with each of her clients. She works with each person to gain access to understanding how they have come to take on certain beliefs and behaviors in their lifetime that have led to unhappiness, dissatisfaction and emotional burden. She believes that by assisting clients to connect with themselves and release these burdens, they can then be empowered to live a life that is authentically led with confidence, clarity, creativity, courage, compassion, curiosity and calm.

In her spare time, Stephanie likes to spend time with her husband, bake therapeutic scones, have dance parties with her rambunctious children, and randomly break into song mid-sentence.
