Elizabeth “Liz” Curtis LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker licensed in both Connecticut and New York. She is a graduate of Columbia University School of Social Work, having earned a Masters’ of Science specializing in Advanced Clinical Practice in School Based Services. She earned her BA in psychology with a Human Services Concentration from Quinnipiac University.

Liz is a healer and meets the client where they are to bring them to place of thriving. She has a playful, engaging style that is comforting and she develops strong rapport with every client. She is passionate about helping people and is able help and serve people in crisis. Liz has worked as the Lead Clinician in psychiatric emergency rooms. She has extensive knowledge in assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning for clients.

Liz has experience working with all age groups and specializes in working with adolescents and young adults.  As technology and society evolves, there are many ways that life is getting easier, but we all know that this is not always true.  Liz is here to be a sounding board for you to talk to, and no issue is too big or too small. She helps to bring fresh, new ideas to everyday problems and to help you look at situations from a different perspective.  Life is hard, but you don’t have to go through it alone. Liz believes that self-care is not a reward, but a necessity for
living. You deserve to be happy.

In her free time, Liz enjoys exploring her new town as well as spending time with her cats.  She likes the Boston Red Sox, playing football with her nephew, and for the last 15 years she has run the Casco Bay Tuna Club’s annual Bailey Island Fishing Tournament.
