Bart Wichowski, LPC-A is the Director of Intensive Outpatient Programs at Hopewell Health Solutions. Bart holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Southern New Hampshire University and a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Sacred Heart University. With extensive experience working with children, families, and individuals facing a wide range of mental health issues, Bart is committed to fostering positive mental health outcomes. His belief that clients can overcome great hurdles and accomplish success when provided specialized, tailored intensive clinical treatment drives his motivation to work with kids and adults.
Bart brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his position as IOP DIrector at Hopewell Health Solutions. With a profound understanding of the complexities surrounding mental health services and access to quality care, Bart brings nearly 20 years of law enforcement experience at both federal and municipal levels. Bart has developed and led proactive mental health response teams and comprehensive navigation services for the betterment of the community and he has received multiple accolades for his service and commitment to mental health and positive community interactions.

At HHS, Bart adopts a developmental and cognitive behavioral approach when working with children and teens experiencing mental health challenges, helping them achieve confidence and success, and developing healthy coping behaviors. His therapeutic approach is rooted in an eclectic blend of Solution-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). His exceptional communication skills ensure that children and their families are integral parts of the treatment team. Bart is passionate about including and empowering parents in clinical treatment and treating the family system holistically so that it is healthy and self-sustaining. His passion for empowering clients, supporting families, and fostering positive change remains the forefront of his work at HHS.
Outside of his professional life, Bart enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter, and their diverse array of pets, including a dog, rabbit, and horse. In his leisure time, he listens to podcasts, visits lighthouses, and explores new coffee varieties.
