Sheryll Waring, LPC, LDAC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Licensed Drug and Alcohol Counselor and a Certified Trauma Specialist. She received a master’s degree in counseling from St. Joseph’s College with advanced training in Trauma Informed Treatment with Dr. Greenwald, Executive Director of The Child Trauma Institute. Sheryll has also studied at UMASS, seeking a certificate in Autism Studies.

img_3413Sheryll has proven ability in being able to target areas for treatment, devise scientifically-based treatment programs (specifically Applied Behavioral Analysis and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), and implement the programs to facilitate change and transformation. Sheryll is highly regarded for her expertise in behavior modification and her work with children that have complex behaviors. In addition, she utilizes her training in family dynamics and cooperative parenting to help families function and feel better quickly. She is always looking for new techniques and hands on activities that promote positive behavior change for both children and adults. Her clients say she is an “excellent therapist” with an empathic, engaging, and motivating style who provides “hands on solutions that really work.”

Sheryll is a resident of the Glastonbury, wife of a U.S Army combat veteran of Iraq and Afghanistan, a mother of five children, and an avid soccer fan.
