Heather Erskine, LPC, NCC is a Licensed Professional Therapist and Nationally Certified Counselor who drives her clients to become their best selves through targeted, goal-directed treatment such as i-Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Reality Therapy, Mindfulness, and Family Systems approach. She navigates her clients through the therapeutic process by identifying their problems, exploring emotions, and challenging negative thoughts to ignite change and identify solutions. She received a Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Georgia State University. She has 14 years of extensive clinical experience in multiple settings including inpatient, outpatient, partial hospitalization, home-based, and substance abuse. She has worked as a supervisor, manager, and clinician. She is very skilled in treating children, adolescents, and adults with a wide variety of challenges including depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, family issues, divorce, behavioral issues, Bipolar Disorder, grief and loss issues, and addiction.

Heather is a dynamic and engaging therapist who quickly joins with her clients in order to guide them to success in health, happiness, and healing. She is non-judgmental and caring to her clients as she identifies this as the key to healing and transformation. Her approach is holistic, custom tailored, and strength-based understanding that each client has both strengths and weaknesses and each client requires a customized personalized plan. She offers her clients hope, support, and evidence-based strategies to help them achieve the goals they desire.

Heather spends quality time with her husband and 2 teenage sons, and is actively involved in their academic and extra-curricular activities. She enjoys kickboxing, exercising, kayaking, and reading.
